Robert “Bob” Groelle brings several decades of litigation and trial experience to the Galaxy Mediation & Legal Solutions team. He is licensed to practice law in Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, and in the Federal Courts; and has been a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Circuit Mediator for over 18 years. His extensive litigation and trial practice gained over 35 years of practice has earned him a level of experience and knowledge to bring strategic evaluation, practical judgment, and real world understanding to the alternative dispute resolution forum. Those qualifications are unique benefits in ADR practice that can assist in bringing the most challenging cases to resolution.

Bob Groelle’s attributes as a neutral are shaped by more than just his legal background. Prior to entering the legal field, he worked for years in construction, real estate, and the service industries - experiences that forged his perseverance, practicality, and ability to relate to people in all walks of life. Those qualities contribute to success at the mediation conference, and impartial objectivity in arbitration matters. His depth of legal knowledge and professional excellence have also been recognized repeatedly in a myriad of ways, including:

  • AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell the great majority of his legal career.
  • Named a Top Lawyer in Florida by the Legal Network (2013).
  • A prominent speaker and educator for legal, insurance, and professional organizations.
  • Approved as a Qualified Arbitrators for the 15th Judicial Circuit in 2025.

Bob Groelle gained initial trial experience while serving as an intern with the State Attorney’s office during his final year of law school and had his first civil trial within two years of getting licensed to practice law (followed by dozens more in the years after!) Numerous courtroom experiences instilled the knowledge and understanding of how litigation cases are built, how juries perceive and react, and an innate understanding of how a claim or defense position may be adequately supported or just strategically postured. All parties to mediation can benefit with a qualified mediator that can effectively discuss the parties’ positions and find areas of compromise to explore settlement opportunities. And Bob Groelle’s litigation and trial experience has been in both plaintiff and defense situations, and include both first- and third-party disputes, automobile accident injuries, maritime losses, construction defect and design disputes, medical malpractice claims, and even discriminatory conduct claims.

Over his legal career, Bob has also gained management skills that were exhibited during his 24 years as managing partner of a multiple-office mid-size law firm. With the added experience of overseeing teams of litigators in a challenging litigation environment, he has honed case management experience ranging from oversight of a volume of repetitive litigation matters to the most complex and challenging disputes.

Bob Groelle is also strongly committed to community. From years of involvement and volunteering in Junior Achievement, youth sports coaching, Boy Scouts leadership, and faith-based programs, to his longstanding support of Legal Aid with both pro bono service and financial contributions, he has been dedicated to strengthening the legal profession and supporting all aspects of the community at large.
